Golden Candle Studio is a one-person professional miniature painting operation run by Michael Candeloro, based in South Carolina.

Michael has been painting miniatures for 10 years, starting the way most painters do, buying a game, staring at the gray plastic, and deciding he could use his artistic talents to figure out how to paint it. Hundreds of minis, models, and one-off projects (and a very understanding family) later, Golden Candle Studio is still here producing legendary pieces from the heart.

The studio handles everything from tabletop-ready army commissions to detailed display pieces for collectors. The range covers Star Wars Legion, Warhammer 40K, board game miniatures like Zombicide and Massive Darkness, and just about anything else you set in front of him.

What sets Golden Candle Studio apart isn’t just the brushwork, it’s the understanding of the hobby. Michael is a gamer first and a painter second, which means he knows what a great-looking army actually looks like across the table, not just under a photography lamp.
